ASI DATAMYTE announces the rebranding of the company name to DATAMYTE, Inc. This change in identity is reminiscent of the company’s roots. Originally founded in 1967 as Electro/General Corporation, DATAMYTE has long held strong ties to Factory Automation Equipment manufacturing and helping organizations overcome challenges around quality. By the year 1983, the company changed its name to DataMyte, taking the name of its major product offering, DataMyte data collectors. A few years later, DataMyte became a wholly owned subsidiary and internal business unit within Allen Bradley, a division of Rockwell International.
Along with this name shift, the company has adopted a new corporate logo and a dynamic red branding. Per Joel Ronning, Chairman of the Board at DATAMYTE, “this is a new company now and we are working diligently to build value-added enhancements and new products to our software and hardware product line.”
The DATAMYTE branding gives the company and its employees renewed energy. “We have been working on a rebranding direct mail campaign with messaging around ‘Energize your Quality’ to our client base and the response has been very positive,” explains Ronning.
With 40+ years of expertise in the quality management space, DATAMYTE is looking forward to continuing to bring innovation and its industry-leading technologies to clients worldwide.
